So anyone got any good Mercury Retrograde stories to share?
I felt this was a pretty nasty one. More than usual.
I actually scoffed at the idea after perhaps the 2nd week into the Mercury Retrograde things started seriously going wrong.
*Our email server at work started having problems. Had to go 1.5 week with out an support on Blackberry's and we couldn't check our email remotely.
*Secondly, Sales have been in a slump since it went direct for the company overall. Allot of returns from customers created a backlog of sales.
* Made some on-line purchases. And I got double billed on my credit card on Amazon.com and had to get them to correct it.
* Had a big order sent out to a customer. All because of miscommunication to my special orders team.
* Sent many emails out to Customers who claimed that never received them from me on important memos.
There was allot little things that all added up. All which gave me a sigh of relief when that baby went Direct on Friday. But from what I hear it'll still be a few weeks until the mess that got created during that time gets cleaned up.
This one I think has been a brutal one technically speaking. It started with my ISP disabling my service for 3 days. They couldn't figure out why when I called in. Then there were email issues at various times over the of the retrograde. Happy that it's over.
I also felt it was a brutal MERC RX. WOW. Mistakes abounded but interestingly, they were mistakes that were made before...but only caught during the RX.
Actually another thing that comes to mind.... A project that we were working on at work...for some reason could not get off the ground..until about 5 days after merc went direct. There was one reason after another. WOW It gave me a lot of extra time to review documents and make sure that everything was in order... Merc Rx is Great and Necessary. A necessary good.
Seems like the Mercury Retrograde is somewhat still in effect (Nov 25 2006). However things have improved as is. The sales in our team having been increasing and moving forward. As I personally had a few deals pushed through. Felt my communication with my customers was allot more clearer too.
However, when I went to the mall to go to the bank machine. There was a network problem with all the ATM machines in the mall and people couldn't get money out. And some of my customers still are not getting my emails. I read somewhere that the Mercury Retrograde will not be in full clearing after say December 5th when it passes it's point of station. Now we're in the process of fixing all the things that got messed up in the retrograde period.
I wonder why this one was so particularly brutal? Was it because it was in Scorpio?
Next time it goes Retrograde I'm for sure going to wear a seatbelt.
Actually in response to 'a necessary good' I found it hard to govern myself with activities which would go with the Mercury Retrograde in my daily job. Being a salesperson, I don't really do much 'introspective' work and mostly need outspoken communication. I really had to discipline myself to get off the phone and reschedule some of my appointments after the retrograde period.
Though I felt the introspective energy in my communication. As often I'd say things to customers that wouldn't make sense. I forced myself to work on things that I would otherwise hate to waste good selling time on such as my administrative duties..
But yes in the scheme of things I agree Mercury retrograde is a necessary evil. As it shows the holes in things very quickly.
