What sort of things do you guys look for in a chart to see if someone is going to be famous? I mean super successful. I looked at Prince's chart once (Or the artist formerely known as Prince) and saw Spica conjunct his Midheaven. That's the type of thing I would expect for someone of his status.
However, I've stared at many other charts and have stood dumbfounded. If I did not know who they we're I would have never guessed they'd be famous.

I don't think you can tell if someone is going to be famous based on their Natal chart. Maybe you can determine their 'drive to succeed' at best.
Because if you think about it, the time of birth of a 'famous person' their maybe someone who is not famous born at a similar time. So what makes them famous and the other not famous? The stars? More likely luck.
I believe the Natal chart only gives the general pattern and psychological themes that the person will go through in their lifetime.

See that's just the problem. It's very difficult to be precise on whether a person will be successful or not.
Actually I have Jupiter in the 10th (Well pretty much in 10th, it's leaving its last degree of the 9th and conjuncting the MC)
'Good fortune' that you would typically expect with Jupiter we're hardly the case in my career previous to my Saturn return. As my early career had a very troubled and rocky start. Yet, we'll see what happens on my second Saturn cycle.
As since my saturn return it seems that was a culminating point of reaping fair rewards for hard work.
Do you think that the ruler of the 2nd may appear in some sort of dignity or exaltation? Or perhaps the ruler of the 11th (Wages from the profession) in strong dignity?

Hi Spica, how goes it ?
I think that spica conjunct the MC is certainly a good indication of a strong career but not the only one. My cousin has 23 degrees libra ( is that spica ?) on the MC, and she did very well in her career..,despite what everyone expected of her. In fact I don't think she finished high school. Jupiter in the 10th is usually a good indicator that this person will have lots of opportunities in the career...
